Transparent Chrysalis - Wild Gallery may 2025

Wild Goose Creative is proud to present May’s 2025 Wild Gallery, Transparent Chrysalis, featuring Cee and Weiting Wei.

Transparent Chrysalis is a 2 woman exhibition created by award winning artists Cee and Weiting Wei that touches on themes of birthing, emergence, and transcendence. Breaking the barriers, these installations are made from unusual materials like collagen and iridescent fabrics. These pieces challenge viewers to explore their feelings around boundaries, motherhood, and potential. This is for anyone who has or is a mother, or who is curious about the mystery of life unfolding.

Born in Kansas, resided in California and Maui and now happily in Columbus, Cee has always been interested in the meaning of existence and the interconnectedness of all things. Among other activities, Cee has been a farmer, hospice spiritual caregiver, and written two books about consciousness. She has produced hundreds of paintings and sculptures and is currently creating etherial room installations. She received a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute, an MFA from Mills College in Oakland and was granted the Jay Defeo award.

Weiteng Wei was born in China, attended Fujian Huanan Women’s Vocational College, and received her MFA in Visual Arts at Columbus College of Art and Design. She shows her intricate sculptural work internationally and resides in Powell with her husband and two sons.
