Films for Action: Human Rights Film Series
Love great movies?
Interested in taking action on important human rights issues?
Want to get more involved in your local community?
The Films For Action: Human Rights Film Series shows an innovative range of challenging documentaries on the third Thursday of the month at 7pm. Films that you may not get to see anywhere else!
Each screening event focuses on a different human rights issue that directly impacts your local community. Every film is followed by a discussion and actions led by local non-profits. For each event there will be a suggested donation of $5.
We act as a chapter of Films For Action, a nonprofit that promotes alternative media channels that will inform, connect, and inspire action at a community level.
Our next screening will be Edie & Thea: A Very Long Engagment in partnership with Stonewall Columbus - Thursday May 16 2013 at 7 pm.
Live Post-Screening Skype Q&A with the Filmmakers!
