SPONSORED GROUPS

If you have a passion to get people together and create community and art through hospitality and creative education, we want to work with you! Wild Goose Creative can be as involved as you would like; our desire is to build your group and support your goals by facilitating your ideas, helping you build community, and sharing our resources.

A sponsored group is a group delegated by Wild Goose Creative, but led by someone outside of the goose founders and allies. Our desire for Sponsored Groups is that they be open to the public, further the mission statement and ideals of Wild Goose Creative, and support the leaders’ passion for their art. Our goals are to put the organization and leadership of these groups into the hands of the experts and leader, and to encourage the groups in any way we can.

What we can offer you:

•Wild Goose Creative liaison to help you solve issues and brainstorm ideas

•Access to communication to the wider Wild Goose Creative community through our event calendar and occasional newsletters

•Storage in the space in exchange for our use of items (with your permission)

•Listing on front page of our website under “resources”

•Access to the space when it is available through a public key

•Access to our existing resources, equipment and materials

We are passionate about you and your ideas, we want your group to grow and expand and for you to feel empowered to use the resources we have to offer. In exchange we ask that you respect our space and resources and that you keep to the values of our organization by respecting our goals and mission.

A few things we ask you to remember:

•Leave the space as you found it (Cleaning supplies can be found under the kitchen sink, with brooms in the storage space.)

•You are responsible for any breakages that happen during your time in the space.

•Report any problems, breakages, or issues as soon as possible.

•You will be supplied with a Wild Goose Creative brand “footer” image that we would like you to use on any group posters you create

•You are encouraged to promote your group through posters, blogs, and any other ways you see fit.

Also, it is our goal to offer our space to groups such as yours at no rental charge, but we still have rent and bills to pay. It costs $40/day to run the Wild Goose Creative space. If possible, we encourage you to ask for a suggested donation of a few bucks a person at each meeting, which can be left in our donation “egg” found in the space. However, it is more important to us that you are using and enjoying the space than for your group to cover the cost of your meeting day.
