January: Karl Boettcher & Mac’s Cafe, Whiskey Tasting

  1. Join Scotch Enthusiast Karl Boettcher at Mac's Cafe on January 26 for a guided tasting of 4 single malt Scotch whiskeys.  Each whiskey--The Macallan 12, Lagavulin 16, Oban 14, and Glenkinchie 10--is emblematic of a different Scotch region, and is a particularly enjoyable example of each style.  The price is only $15 for the four tastings, and includes Mac's brand of Scottish appetizers.

March: Amy Sharp of Little Alouette, Teaching Kids Through Art

  1. Join us for a discussion on how any family (even non-artistic parents) can be creative each and everyday...learn everything from how to teach your preschooler poetry, to easy art projects from the recycling bin. Come and make a fun craft and talk about all things creative and play! This is a perfect parent child discussion, so bring the little ones!

April: Holly Davis and Wayward Seed, CSA Open House

  1. Local farmers and plumlife.com talk about how to eat local & savor the season’s best food all summer long.
