ELIZABETH DEKKER
ELIZABETH DEKKER
Bio
Beth was born and raised in Greenville, a small town in Western Pennsylvania. She headed north to Grand Rapids, Michigan, to attend Calvin College in 1997 and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Communication Arts and Sciences with a specialization in Theatre. While there, she focused on design, producing and directing, and was able to practice each of these at Calvin while a part of the Calvin Theatre Company.
After marrying a hot young actor by the name of Nicholas Dekker, they moved to Columbus, Ohio, in 2002 to attend graduate school at The Ohio State University. Beth graduated with her Masters in Theatre two years later, after studying directing and theatre management. After graduation, she flirted with Special Event Planning and was then hired by Columbus-based inventor, entrepreneur and Internet celebrity Paul Robinett to manage his businesses and life. She headed to Clintonville and worked for the fabulous graphic design firm Spindle Studios (famed Wild Goose Logo designer), and now works full-time for Wild Goose Creative to manage the time and space for the company.
Artistic Interests
Beth’s true love of theatre centers in directing, although design has always been in her blood. She has recently began working in the graphic design sector, learning more about the world about advertising and marketing.
