AMANDA ANDERSON

Bio

Amanda is born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. Specifically, she has lived in Clintonville her whole life and can't imagine living anywhere else. She attended Capital University in Bexley, Ohio and majored in Music Industry and Vocal Performance. She studied Portuguese, Russian, German, French and Italian diction. She also attended the Recording Workshop during the summer of 2003 to learn how to run recording equipment, even though she loved it the knowledge didn't stick.

After graduation she married Andy Anderson on Capital's campus in a lovely ceremony conducted by Andy's father. They have been married for 4 years and have a pet Rabbit named Wally, and live in a tiny two bedroom flat with too many instruments.

She works at Columbus Children's Theatre as the Volunteer and Development Coordinator. She has worked there for 4 years, and has really enjoyed learning all the new skills she has from the job.

Amanda met the Boettchers, Hokes and Dekkers in July of 2007 at a Teen Angst Poetry Night and the rest is history. She loves being a part of Wild Goose Creative and all that it is doing in Columbus.

Artistic Interests

Amanda's greatest loves are music and food. Her favorite artists include Tegan and Sara, Ani DiFranco and David Bowie. She also loves musicals like Jesus Christ SuperStar and Sweeney Todd. Her favorite food in Columbus is Jeni's Ice Cream (Salty Caramel and Black Coffee), Tip Top Kitchen and Cocktails' Sweet Potato Fries and anything from North Market Poultry and Game which she craves fortnightly. She loves cooking, especially Sushi, Quesadillas and mixing her own Cocktails. Salt is her favorite food group. :)
