ASPARAGUS THROWDOWN! COOKING COMPETITION

Do you have a favorite way to eat or prepare asparagus? Do you have a fantastic asparagus recipe for soup, salad, appetizer, side dish, entrée, or even dessert, perhaps? Then we would love to have you share your dish with us! Please fill out the form below if you are interested!

Prizes will be awarded for the judges’ favorite asparagus dishes.  Entries are welcome in any category and will be judged based on taste, texture, visual appeal, and creativity. 

Contest is limited to 12 entries, so register soon!  Registration deadline: May 15, 2010.

Note to contest entrants:

1. •All contest entrants will receive 1 free ticket to the event.
   

2. •Please provide enough food to serve 3 judges’ plates plus 30 tasting-sized portions for other guests.
   

3. •Please be prepared to plate and present the judges’ portions.
   

4. •The remaining tasting portions should be presented in a half-sheet foil pan to be served buffet-style to movie guests.
   

5. •Tasting portions will be served prior to the movie screening. You are invited to serve your own dish from the buffet line so you may answer any questions guests may have.
